The port of Nador welcomes La Méridionale passengers for their crossing to Marseille. Follow our advice to embark in the best conditions and with complete peace of mind.
When you make a Marseille-Morocco crossing with La Méridionale, you have the choice of arriving at Tangier Med or at the port of Nador Bensi Ensar if you have opted for a Marseille-Nador crossing. The port of Nador is located 10km east of the town of Nador.
Access to the port of Nador for travellers
Passengers should arrive at the port of Nador no later than :
- 4 hours before the departure of the Moroccan ferry for foot passengers
- 6 hours before the departure of the boat for passengers with a passenger vehicle
- 9 hours before departure for passengers with a van or utility vehicle.
In the event of late arrival at the port of Nador, access to the Marseille Nador ship may be refused.
Recommendations for boarding the ferry Morocco
Access time to the port of Nador may be increased due to car traffic or heavy crowds in high season or during the Marhaba operation. For a smooth arrival, allow for a longer journey time.

To make sure you are allowed to board your Marseille Nador ferry, you will need to show your booking (Marseille-Morocco ship ticket), as well as proof of identity for each passenger, including minors.
If you are leaving Morocco with your car or two-wheeler, you must also show the vehicle's papers to board the Marseille Nador ferry.
Morocco ferries: boarding with a pet
La Méridionale ships to and from the port of Nador do not accept pets.
The facilities on the Kalliste (cabins, armchair lounges, bars, restaurants, etc.), the ship that operates between Marseille and Nador, are strictly reserved for passengers.

How to get to the port of Nador

By public transport

From Tangier
- Take the N1 towards the A2 (Rabat-Oujda motorway)
- Follow the A2 towards Taza, Guercif, then Taourirt
- At Taourirt, take the exit for the Rocade méditerranéenne (A5)
- Continue on the N19 towards Nador Beni Ensar
- Follow the N15 to reach the port of Nador Beni Ensar.
From Rabat
- Take the N6 towards the A2 motorway (Rabat-Oujda)
- Follow the A2 via Fès, Taza and Guercif
- Take the Taourirt/Nador exit and continue on the N19
- Follow the N19 through a number of roundabouts towards Nador Beni Ensar
- Take the N15 to reach the port of Nador Beni Ensar
From Oujda
- Take the N6 towards Berkane/Nador
- Continue on the N2, crossing several roundabouts towards Zaio/Nador
- Take the P6211, then the Rocade Méditerranéenne/N16
- Follow the N19, then the N15 to reach the port of Nador Beni Ensar.
